Welcome to St. Michael Religious Education, where families grow together in faith and parish life. Families have two flexible options -- our new Family Faith Program or Traditional Classroom RE. All classes conveniently align with the St. Michael Mass times and the District 200 school calendar. We invite you to register now for classes that begin in September 2025.

YOUR CHOICES


If you have a child in Preschool through Grade 5, you can choose:
o   Once-a-month Family Faith -- Students and at least one parent attend.
Families receive guided lessons for at-home study during the month.
 •  Session A Family Faith: 8:00 - 10:00 am on Sunday
 •  Session B Family Faith: 10:00 - 12:00 pm on Sunday

OR

o   Weekly Traditional Classroom RE
  •  Session C Traditional: 4:30 - 5:45 pm on Wednesday

If you have a child in Grade 6 through Grade 8, you can choose:
o   Once-a-month Family Faith -- Students and at least one parent attend.
Families receive guided lessons for at-home study during the month.
  • Session C Family Faith: 4:30 - 6:45 pm on Sunday

OR

o   Weekly Traditional Classroom RE
  •  Session A Traditional: 8:15 - 9:40 am on Sunday
 •  Session B Traditional: 10:15 - 11:40 am on Sunday
  •  Session C Traditional: 4:30 - 5:55 pm on Wednesday

If you have a child in Preschool through Grade 5 AND a child in Grade 6 through Grade 8, we invite you to explore these flexible options and choose the combination that best supports your family. (Please note Family Faith Preschool-Grade 5 and Family Faith Grade 6-Grade 8 are on different Sundays for your convenience. See Calendars for details.)

 
Attendance Policy
Family Faith includes 9 sessions. Fr. Sunny requests only 2 absences.
Traditional Classroom RE includes 20 sessions. Fr. Sunny requests only 4 absences.
Absences in excess will result in follow up from the RE staff and may result in students repeating the course.

TUITION 2025-2026


One child: $300 Early Registration Discount / $350 after June 7

Two children: $420 for both children Early Registration Discount / $470 after June 7

Three or more children: $520 for all of the children in the family Early Registration Discount / $570 after June 7

Preschoolers and/or Kindergarteners Only:

Preschooler (ages 2+ through age 4): $175 per child Early Registration Discount / $200 after June 7

Kindergartener: $200 per child Early Registration Discount / $225 after June 7

 

Volunteers and families newly registered as St. Michael Parishioners always receive the Early Registration Discount!

 

PROGRAM-SPECIFIC FEES

Out-of-Parish: $150 per family

Sacramental (First Communion & Confirmation): $75 per child per sacrament

Sacrament Catch Up (OCIC): $225 per child

Love Ed (Grade 5 through Grade 8): $20 per child

 

PROGRAM DISCOUNTS FOR CATECHISTS AND VOLUNTEERS

Catechists: $250 tuition discount per family

Year-Round Volunteers (Adult Classroom Aides, Crossing Guards, Attendance Volunteers, and Traffic Safety: $100 discount per family

St. Michael School Parents: School tuition discount for serving as Catechists or Volunteers; please call the RE Office for details.
